The Barotse National Freedom Alliance (BNFA) reiterates the position which existed in Barotseland for the past decade whereby the Bemba and Nyanja languages have been imposed on the people as a way of subjugating them. The people of Barotseland have been repulsive against the machinations to enslave them through foreign languages. We draw the attention of the readers to the  press release of 23rd January 2007.
