BNFA thanks the international community and ALL for the release of Mombotwa and others

The Barotse National Freedom Alliance (BNFA) thanks the international community and ALL those who responded positively to our calls to put pressure on the oppressive Zambian regime to release Barotse activists and stop denying the Barotse their fundamental human rights, including the right to assemble, the right to associate, the right to free speech, the right of movement, the right to employment and right to self-determination. Mombotwa and his friends now join Sinyinda, Sinonge and many others who have been incarcerated on bogus charges for their political beliefs in a free and independent Barotseland.

The BNFA sees this as a victory against the oppression and injustices perpetrated by the Zambian regime. We welcome these freedom fighters and encourage them to continue in the struggle of liberating Barotseland from Zambian bondage.
